NAS Aspergers Syndrome and High Functioning Autism – Youth Group
Welwyn Garden City

The National Autistic society runs a youth social group which meets in Welwyn Garden City. The group is held Monday evenings (term-time only) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and although based in Welwyn Garden City the group is open to all Hertfordshire residents.

There is an entry fee of £1.00.

The group is open to all between the ages on 13 and 17 with Asperger syndrome or High Functioning Autism. They meet weekly in term time and have activities such as table tennis, cooking, art activities, indoor sports and socialising.

The group aims to help develop individual’s social skills and social networks; creating a safe area where people are able to be themselves.
